Effect: Magician displays a packet of 12 cards counting them one at a time onto a table. He then picks up
the packet and asks a spectator to select
one of the cards. After the chosen card is noted, it is then placed back into the pack.
The magician then "invisibly" removes one card
and places it onto the table. He then recounts the packet of cards face
up proving now that there are only 11 card and that the spectator's card
is missing. He then squares up the cards and asks the spectator to replace
the invisible card back into the pack. Upon doing so, the magician, holding
the packet, waves his hand over the cards and to the astonishment of the
spectator, his or her card is seen rising from the packet. The cards are
now recounted to show that we are back with our original number of 12 cards!
